How to convert to Muslim

Whenever man comes to the realization that Allah is one and distinct from His creation, and submits himself to Allah, he becomes a Muslim in body and spirit and is eligible for paradise.

Thus,anyone at anytime in the most remote region of the world can become a Muslim, a

follower of God's religion, Islam.

One needs to do is pronounce the “Shahada”, the testimony of faith, Shahada is first and the most important pillar of Islam.

The Shahadah can be declared as

follows:

"la ilaha illa'llah wa

Muhammad rasulu'llah."

Its english translation is""There is

no God but Allah, and Muhammad(PBUH)

is the messenger of God.

With the pronunciation of this testimony, or “Shahada”, with sincere belief and conviction,

one enters the fold of Islam.

When one enters in the Islam, previous sins are forgiven.

As Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“Do you not know that accepting Islam destroys all sins which come before it?” (Saheeh Muslim)

After entering in Islam one must follow the saying of God and His Messenger

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
